This policy covers Qwokle (formerly Eureka World), a physics puzzle game published by AZM Tech Pty Ltd (ABN 50 660 702 858) ("we", "us"), an Australian company. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Our other apps have their own privacy policy.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, and the game never asks for your name, email or any other personal information.
- No ads, no analytics and no tracking. The game does not use your advertising ID.
- Your progress and settings are saved only on your device.
- Purchases go through Google Play or the App Store. We never see your card details.
- The game plays offline. It only goes online to buy or restore purchases.
What the game handles and why
| Information | Why | Who handles it |
|---|---|---|
| Solved levels, stars, hints, settings and which items you own | To run the game and remember your progress | Stored only in a save file on your device. It is never sent to us. |
| Payment details and purchase records | To process purchases and tell the game what you own | Google Play or Apple. We don't receive your payment details. |
| Basic app and device information during a purchase (for example app version, device model and store errors) | So the purchase library can complete and check a purchase | Unity In-App Purchasing (Unity Technologies). It is used in the moment and not stored. |
| Emails you send us | To answer you | Us |
What we don't do
- We don't collect, sell or rent personal information.
- No ads, no ad networks, no analytics and no crash-reporting tools.
- The game doesn't request location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos. It only asks for internet access and Google Play billing, to make purchases.
- No chat, no user-generated content and no links out of the game apart from this page, our terms and support.
Children
Qwokle is made for all ages, including children, and meets the Google Play Families policy. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. Purchases always go through the store's own confirmation, so parental controls such as Google Play purchase approval and Apple's Ask to Buy work as normal. If you think a child has sent us personal information by email, tell us and we will delete it.
How long information is kept
- Progress on your device: until you reset it in the game's Settings, clear its data or delete the game.
- Purchase records: kept by Google Play or Apple as their policies and tax law require.
- Emails: until your question is answered, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
We hold no personal information from the game, so there is nothing to access or delete on our side. Deleting the game removes your progress. You can ask us about the emails you have sent, or ask us to delete them. If you have a complaint, email us first. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Service providers
- Google Play and the App Store process payments under their own privacy policies.
- Unity Technologies (game engine and in-app purchasing): Unity privacy policy
Changes
If the game ever starts handling new information, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version is released, and note it in the release notes.
